• Deborah has 25 years of entrepreneurial expertise, having been awarded KZN BWA Entrepreneur of the year in 2011 and was one of 10 top women entrepreneurs chosen to participate in the Ernst & Young Winning Women Programme in 2016. Her business acumen has resulted in developing a fledgling, home-based cosmetics manufacturing company into a multi-million Rand enterprise, exporting hospitality products to most countries in the SADEC region. She also served on the Board of the KZNBWA for many years, before being appointed Chairwoman for the region. In recent years, she has stepped back from the management of production and sales, to find reward in the people she employs, taking on the mantle of HR Director Deborah holds a Diploma in Business Management (Dip BM) from Varsity College, is an associate CIPD member and is completing her level 7 in HR Management.

• Johan has 12 years of biopolymer technology and bio-chemical key account management and sales experience, dealing in all facets of lignosulphonate industrial applications, being trained by Borregaard AS of Norway and serving Sub-Saharan Africa customers in Construction, Ceramics, Mining Reagents, Papersizing, Dust Suppression, Agriculture, Ceramics, and numerous other speciality applications. He was also in the management structure of the first Utility Wood Pole Inspection Service company in South Africa for 14 years, having adopted the Osmose inspection and treatment program from the USA, which was introduced in the late 1980s. Timber Preservation Technology, both in primary and secondary treatment is well ingrained in his skills base. His Project Management skills were honed by the distribution of inspection teams throughout South Africa, requiring materials, field support and logistics, and problem-solving. Johan also ran the production of a manufacturing company in the UK, Forster & Hales Ltd, overseeing the manufacturing of steel and aluminium air brake reservoirs and components for the HGV and related industries. Having completed his N. Dip Civil Engineering at the Durban University of Technology, he worked as a Project Manager on numerous SANRAL bridge construction projects, featuring incremental launch construction and post-tensioning systems.
